Dillon Harris
Broker Associate, Realtor®
I was born in West Texas, but thanks to my dad's service in the U.S. Navy, I’ve had the pleasure of calling several places home, including Washington state and Illinois. I graduated from Texas Tech University where I started out pre-med. Though I initially planned on medical school, I ultimately pulled my applications to answer a different call: a two-year church internship. Afterward, I was hired on full-time as the Associate Missions Director. In that role, I spent my days directing short-term trips, collaborating with missionaries, and finding meaningful ways to collaborate with our community. Some of my favorite memories from that season include working with international students and spending late evenings at city council meetings advocating for our neighbors.
In the fall of 2015, I met my wife, Sarah, and we got married two years later. After living in West Texas for a few years, we took a bold leap of faith: we sold our home, our cars, and everything we owned to move overseas for Christian non-profit work. Over the next six years, we lived in three different countries, an experience that quickly taught me what it truly takes to make a house (or an apartment) feel like a home. I loved immersing myself in diverse communities, learning new languages and cultures, and sharing incredible meals.
As a huge foodie and a serious specialty coffee snob, I deeply value local communities and the unique aspects that make them special. That appreciation for community naturally translated into real estate. I first became fascinated by the industry when we bought our first home; I am the kind of person who dives headfirst into researching every single detail, rule, and option. I thrive on knowing the ins and outs of intricate, high-stakes processes.
Today, I love being a real estate agent because I’m a true "people person" who feels energized by helping others. Your home is the launchpad for how you step out into the world, and I am passionate about connecting people with their ideal spot—whether that’s a permanent mountain residence, a vacation getaway, or an investment property. Sarah and I are raising our son, Arlo, who is an absolute delight and just as passionate about serving others (you’ll likely spot him around town talking to dogs and acting like he owns the place). You can also find me coaching the Creede High School Boy’s Basketball team this year, which I am super excited about. We are thrilled to be on this new journey as a family and look forward to connecting with you soon!

Marketing & Admin Director
I was born in Dallas and raised in the surrounding area, making me a Texas gal through and through. My family has been coming to Creede for three generations, and my childhood is packed with incredible memories: attending Creede Repertory Theatre camps, climbing around the flume and caves by the fire station, riding up the Bachelor Loop for family picnics, and walking into town to drink an Italian soda while paying for internet time once a week just to email my friends back home (so very 2002!). Creede has always held a piece of my heart, and when my mom made the move here full-time in 2019, I knew we wouldn't be far behind her.
I attended Texas Tech University, graduating with a degree in Electronic Media & Communications—right alongside marrying Dillon the weekend before graduation! Before finishing my degree, I was hired as a Director of Marketing for a local firm, overseeing commercial real estate, hospital systems, and self-storage facilities across Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. I loved the energy of diving into those diverse industries. Looking for a fast-paced corporate environment next, I transitioned into the oil and gas sector as Marketing Director for a company manufacturing and distributing fire-retardant clothing and PPE for four of the top five drilling companies in the world. That position took me on the road often, deepening my love for connecting with different communities.
After a few years, Dillon and I felt a strong pull toward overseas service. Following six years and three countries abroad, I am profoundly grateful for the journey, but equally excited to be back in America—and back working in marketing, my first love.
These days, you’ll find me around town working on my laptop or chasing our son, Arlo. If I have a spare quiet moment, you’ll likely catch me reading (I average around 55 books a year) or recreating a complex meal I learned to cook in someone's grandmother's kitchen overseas. I bring that same dedication, creativity, and eye for detail to helping market your property and showcase everything that makes Creede & the San Juan Mountains so magical.
