Why I’m a Proud Member of the Pagosa Springs Area Association of REALTORS® (PSAAR)

Proud to Be a Member of the Pagosa Springs Area Association of REALTORS®

As a REALTOR®, staying connected to my community and industry is not just a responsibility—it’s a privilege. That’s why I’m proud to be a member of the Pagosa Springs Area Association of REALTORS® (PSAAR), a board that represents more than 200 dedicated real estate professionals across Pagosa Springs, South Fork, Monte Vista, Creede, Alamosa, and beyond.

PSAAR’s mission resonates deeply with me. Their commitment to providing leadership training, education, and resources gives each of us the tools to not only meet—but exceed—the professional and ethical expectations our clients deserve. This foundation of integrity and accountability is the very heart of what makes a REALTOR® more than just a real estate agent.

Beyond training and tools, PSAAR fosters a culture of community involvement and advocacy. The association champions the rights of property owners and promotes the value of free enterprise. Whether it's through supporting local initiatives, advocating for legislative policies, or simply encouraging agents to give back, PSAAR plays a vital role in shaping the communities we serve.

As someone who also belongs to other REALTOR® associations—including DAAR, Altitude MLS, and the Colorado Association of REALTORS®—I bring a wide network of insight and collaboration into every transaction. These affiliations give me access to broader markets, more data, and diverse professional development opportunities, which translates to better service for my clients—whether they’re buying a vacation home in Creede or selling land in South Fork.

But what I value most about being part of PSAAR is the local connection. This board understands the unique beauty and challenges of living and working in southwestern Colorado. From the mountain towns to the high desert landscapes, PSAAR supports REALTORS® who are deeply rooted in the region—just like me.

I believe that to serve clients well, we must also serve the profession. My involvement with multiple REALTOR® associations ensures I stay current, connected, and committed to raising the standard. I’m grateful for PSAAR and the community of professionals who work each day to protect real property rights and promote excellence in real estate.
